WHAT CAN AFFECT MY PLUG-IN DIFFUSERS FRAGRANCE THROW?Updated 2 months ago
Our Plug-In diffusers are designed to create a subtle, continuous fragrance experience by gently diffusing scent into the air over time. Unlike a candle or room spray, which can deliver an immediate and stronger burst of fragrance, a diffuser offers a more delicate, lasting aroma that slowly fills the space, but a few factors may affect how noticeable the fragrance is:
- Fragrance strength & preference: Our fragrances vary in strength and depending on personal preference, some may find specific fragrances stronger than others
- Room size & ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated. If the area is too enclosed, the fragrance can become trapped in one area and may not disperse evenly. This can also make the fragrance feel weaker or “stuck” near the source
- Placement: Place at a lower level. If the device is placed too high, the fragrance has nowhere to disperse to. We would recommend somewhere lower than shoulder level, with good ventilation and high foot traffic. This could be a hallway, lounge, or entryway
- Temperature: Warm environments help fragrance travel further, while cooler spaces may reduce the fragrance throw
- Usage: As outlined in our safety guidelines (available online and on our packaging), we recommend using the device for a maximum of 6 hours at a time. This prevents overheating, which can impact diffusion and fragrance throw. The Plug-In Diffuser unit should be plugged directly into a wall socket and not used with extension plugs or cords
